Welcome to Day 11 of the blog tour to kick-off the release of my new book A New Spin on Drunkard’s Path that was recently published by C&T Publishing.
So how does this work? Between September 26, 2016 and October 7, 2016 there will be one-two blog posts each day. Visit each blog, leave a comment on the blog and you will have a chance to win a copy of the book (for USA winners it will be a hard copy of the book – for international winners it will be an electronic copy) AND a set of Marti Michell Drunkard’s Path templates that are used in the book!
Melody Crust, a popular quilting instructor, brings her natural teaching ability and contagious enthusiasm to quilters from coast to coast. An award-winning quilter and nationally celebrated fabric artist, her work has been featured in dozens of books and magazines. In addition to her busy teaching schedule, Melody is in constant demand as curator and judge for national and regional quilt exhibitions and has authored /Stitching Through the Layers: The Art & Elegance of Straight Line Stitching, Eye Candy Quilts: Super-fast fun with beads, baubles, buttons and more, Quilt Toppings; Fun and Fancy Embellishment Techniques and A Fine Line; Techniques and Inspirations for Creating the Quilting Design. /See samples of Melody’s work, check out her workshops, order autographed copies of her books or contact her directly at www.melodycrust.com She also is a BERNINA Brand Ambassador.
Kim has been a self-taught thrill sewing extraordinaire for nine years. She loves trying new sewing techniques and has sewn everything from quilts to bags and garments (even a skirt made from log cabin blocks!) and has written patterns that are available on her blog, My Go-Go Life, Moda Bake Shop, Liberty of London, Pellon Projects She is also one of the contributing authors for Kitchen Stitches for Martingale Publishing. Kim has happily tested quilt patterns for many industry designers and has also sewn for books and pattern covers. As social media coordinator for almost four years and eventually Creative Director for Aurifil thread, she has a deep love for threads! She recently left that position to move back into sewing full-time, testing patterns, sharing her love of sewing while creating an active social media community on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram. Kim is one of the designers for The Splendid Sampler and is the Aurifil Designer of the month for November 2016.
