Kathy Patterson was the Assistant Editor for McCall’s Quilting when I was a participant in the 2010 Design Star Contest.  I got to know Kathy after the contest as she was my point person for sending submissions into the magazine. I enjoyed working with her and everyone else at McCalls. Kathy then moved back to the York, PA area and continued working for McCall’s dealing with online content. We finally  met in person last spring when I was teaching longarm quilting class at the York Quilters Guild show. Now she is embarking out on her own in the quilting world so – visit her blog, follow-her!

I first met Teresa at a Quilt Market in Houston. She was doing a presentation on using Social Media and how to use it to our best advantage to promote our work.  It was a great talk and we kept in touch.  She was working for Robert Kaufman fabrics at the time, she moved back to Portland, OR and called the wo
nderful store Fabric Depot home, and now she finds herself back in Los Angeles
ow working for Shannon Fabrics as their Event and Education coordinator.
